Vodafone3G: FASTER. SMARTER. BETTER.

From last few months Vodafone was showing some weird advertisements as, something is coming Is It Dream or Reality?, UFO or Alien?, Bird or Plane?, Fact or Fiction?.
But during the important World Cup Match 2011 between India and England  finally Vodafone revealed  that its not a bird, plane, or fiction but more important, more exciting than that, and it is 3G service by Vodafone.

After implementation of 3G services by TATA DoCoMo, Airtel, BSNL; Vodafone customers were eagerly waiting for this service. Also after implementation of MNP service Vodafone was a clearcut winner which gives added advantage to them. So more customer means more people wanting 3G services. And finally they came with a bang saying Vodafone 3G is here!

As always, advertisement of 3G is also equally good than its previous advertisements, and with this they again introduce their sweet, cute, funny ZooZoo's. But this time they are more faster, smarter, and better. This time ZooZoo is back with 3G mark on it. and with a rocket speed to shake the world.
For Experience just dial 116.

MNP is very much helpful to retain your mobile number in case where you are changing your mobile operator. This information was already given to you on this blog,

Now Iam going tell you the process for changing from one mobile operator to other.
For that you have to follow given steps:

1. First, send SMS to 1900 as, PORT (Space) Your mobile Number.
(This will take 1Rs. from your current balance, and Then you will get a unique porting code with expiry date. you have to change your mobile operator within expiry date or else you will need to send this SMS again and get a new porting code)

2. Go to mobile operator to which you want to convert, with required documents like xerox copies of your license (i.e. your photo ID) and one passport size photo, etc.

3.Fill MNP form, he will give to you, where your unique porting code is needed. And then submit that form to him.
(He will take Rs.19 as porting charges and some SIM charges)

AND THATS IT. YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER WILL CHANGE IN 7 DAYS!!!

Note:
 # After filing the MNP form, new service provider will give you new SIM which you have to change with old one when your old SIM deactivates.
For eg. If I am using "xxx" service provider and I want change it to "yyy".
I will Follow above steps where, when I will fill Form of MNP the "yyy" service provider will give me there SIM card. And when my "xxx" SIM deactivates in 7 days I'll use yyy's new SIM card.

You can change your service provider after 90 days again. That means you have to use one service provider at least for 90 days.

what is Android (General info)?

Android is an operating system for mobile devices such as cellular phones, tablet computers and netbooks. Android was developed by Google and based upon the Linux kernel and GNU software. It was initially developed by Android Inc. (a firm later purchased by Google) and lately by the Open Handset Alliance.

According to NPD Group, unit sales for Android OS smartphones ranked second among all smartphone OS handsets sold in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2010. BlackBerry OS and iOS ranked first and third respectively. A Nielsen report for the same quarter placed Android in fourth place with 9% of the market.
Android has a large community of developers writing apps that extend the functionality of the devices. There are currently over 90,000 apps available for Android, which makes it the second most popular mobile development target. Developers write managed code in the Java language, controlling the device via Google-developed Java libraries.

The unveiling of the Android distribution on 5 November 2007 was announced with the founding of the Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of 71 hardware, software, and telecom companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices. Google released most of the Android code under the Apache License, a free software and open source license.

The Android operating system software stack consists of Java applications running on a Java based object oriented application framework on top of Java core libraries running on a Dalvik virtual machine featuring JIT compilation. Libraries written in C include the surface manager, OpenCore media framework, SQLite relational database management system, OpenGL ES 2.0 3D graphics API, WebKit layout engine, SGL graphics engine, SSL, and Bionic libc. The Android operating system consists of 12 million lines of code including 3 million lines of XML, 2.8 million lines of C, 2.1 million lines of Java, and 1.75 million lines of C++.
