3G Technology?

Everyone are happy that 3G services are getting launch in India but thing is many of them don't know what actually is this 3G technology. So this is my endeavor to tell you some basics about this 3G technology.

So what exactly this 3G means?:

3G means third generation of wireless technology which is often use with mobile or handset and it is a mean to connect mobile or handset with internet.
It provides some advantages over previous generation as high transmission, advance multimedia access and global roaming.

Misunderstandings:

People get confused between GPRS and 3G. If your mobile is 3G supporter then you can enjoy this 3G service. If you have GPRS handset then it doesn't mean that you are accessible to 3G. Your handset should specifically mention that you can use 3G technology.
Other thing is your mobile operator also able to provide 3G technology otherwise you cannot use on normal SIM cards that we use.

Advantages:

  • IPTV support (TV through mobile).
  • Video conferencing.
  • High data speed.
  • Easy audio and video steaming.
  • Web and WAP browsing at higher speed.
Also I would like to tell you about its speed that, if you want to download one mp3 song with this technology then you just need near about 15 sec.

How's That??
If you have any query, please feel free to ask.

But you can avoid it. Just you have to type START DND and send it to 1909 and all the messages from mobile operator will be blocked.
You can again start receiving messages from mobile operator but for that you have to type STOP DND and send it to 1909.

The best thing about this is, you don't have to pay single Rupee for activate this. It is toll free number and so sending a messages to activate or deactivate this is totally free.

Uninor’s ‘24X7 Badalta Discount Plan (DP)’

Uninor is is a mobile operator which comes to India with a bang few weeks ago. This uninor is a tie up between 6th largest mobile communication group Telenor and 2nd largest real estate company in India which is Unitech Ltd.

What exactly is there plan?

Uninor launches this ‘24X7 Badalta Discount Plan (DP)’ where DP stands for dynamic pricing. This is the first mobile operator which launches such concept of dynamic pricing in India.

Under this plan, you will get the discounts on call rates which varies from 5%  to 60%. These discounts are based on traffic on the network. The discounts will change with location and time, with each cellphone tower broadcasting a different discount. The discount on one place will change on an hourly basis. As a starter kit you have to first make recharge of Rs.49/- which will give you lifetime validity.

This simply means you will have to pay maximum 50 paisa per minute to minimum 20 paisa per minute from Uninor-to-Uninor or Uninor-to-any other operator for local call.At present, Uninor services are available in the eight circles of UP (West), UP (East), Bihar, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala , Andhra Pradesh and now in Maharashtra.

“With the Dynamic Pricing concept, customers will get much more involved in the way they use our service. It will make an otherwise routine activity exciting – every single time a customer picks up a phone to make a call,” said Stein-Erik Vellan, Managing Director, Uninor.

For more details, you can visit there website www.uninor.in
