Mobile Number Portability Process....Its very easy!!!

Hi friendz,
Now these days very much popular subject is MNP i.e. Mobile Number Portability.
After a long time, MNP starts in Haryana  and now its implemented in all over country.

MNP is very much helpful to retain your mobile number in case where you are changing your mobile operator. This information was already given to you on this blog,

Now Iam going tell you the process for changing from one mobile operator to other.
For that you have to follow given steps:

1. First, send SMS to 1900 as, PORT (Space) Your mobile Number.
(This will take 1Rs. from your current balance, and Then you will get a unique porting code with expiry date. you have to change your mobile operator within expiry date or else you will need to send this SMS again and get a new porting code)

2. Go to mobile operator to which you want to convert, with required documents like xerox copies of your license (i.e. your photo ID) and one passport size photo, etc.

3.Fill MNP form, he will give to you, where your unique porting code is needed. And then submit that form to him.
(He will take Rs.19 as porting charges and some SIM charges)

AND THATS IT. YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER WILL CHANGE IN 7 DAYS!!!

Note:
 # After filing the MNP form, new service provider will give you new SIM which you have to change with old one when your old SIM deactivates.
For eg. If I am using "xxx" service provider and I want change it to "yyy".
I will Follow above steps where, when I will fill Form of MNP the "yyy" service provider will give me there SIM card. And when my "xxx" SIM deactivates in 7 days I'll use yyy's new SIM card.

You can change your service provider after 90 days again. That means you have to use one service provider at least for 90 days.
